2013 National Physician Survey

In 2013, the National Physician Survey contacted over 60,000 family physicians and other specialists in Canada.

The 2013 results build on data collected in previous years and with a focus to reveal important trends in employment opportunities and challenges of physicians in Canada. The survey contained questions on current employment status, work hours, changes in work plan, service population, choice of practise and location, method of remuneration, access to resources, professional satisfaction, use of electronic records and other areas.
