2012 National Physician Survey

In 2012, the National Physician Survey contacted over 17,000 medical residents and medical students in Canada.

The 2012 results build on data collected in previous years and reveal important trends in future physicians’ experience during their training and in their plans for future practice. The survey contained questions on availability of counselling, sources of stress, satisfaction with the training program, planned practice location, scope and type, debt and its influence, expected use of information technology and other areas.
