2014 National Physician Survey (NPS) results are now available!

The 2014 NPS results were released on December 2, 2014. The release provides the latest physician survey results by province, specialty and other demographics.

The 2014 census survey collected information on the use of information technology by physicians in Canada. Topics investigated were: adoption of electronic records, access to electronic records, use of electronic records in clinical practice, benefits of electronic reports, sharing electronic information, telehealth/telemedicine, social media, physician work hours, and more.

The NPS is carried out by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Royal College).
