2014 National Physician Survey (NPS) results are now available!

The 2014 NPS results were released on December 2, 2014. The release provides the latest physician survey results by province, specialty and other demographics.

The 2014 census survey collected information on the use of information technology by physicians in Canada. Topics investigated were: adoption of electronic records, access to electronic records, use of electronic records in clinical practice, benefits of electronic reports, sharing electronic information, telehealth/telemedicine, social media, physician work hours, and more.

2014 NPS Data Results Coming December 2nd!

The 2014 National Physician Survey (NPS) data will be released on December 2, 2014. The survey focused on the use of information technology by physicians in Canada. It collected information on adoption, access, and benefits of electronic records, sharing electronic information, telehealth/telemedicine, social media, physician work hours, and more. The release will provide highlights of the results at national, provincial, and specialty specific levels.

The 2014 National Physician Survey (NPS) data collection phase was completed on June 30, 2014. All respondents who completed the 2014 NPS were eligible to enter the $1,000 cash prize.

This year, there were more than 10,000 responses from physicians across Canada. Thank you for your support of the 2014 NPS! Please stay tuned for the 2014 NPS Data Release this Fall!

The 2014 National Physician Survey (NPS) Early Bird Prize Contest ended May 30, 2014 All respondents who completed the 2014 NPS before this date were eligible to win the Early Bird $1,000 cash prize.

The survey is closing June 30, 2014.  Thousands of physicians across Canada have already filled the NPS survey. There is one more $1000 cash prize available to eligible 2014 NPS respondents. Complete the survey now before it ends!

2013 National Physician Survey (NPS) results for all physicians are now available!

The 2013 NPS results for all physicians were released on October 23, 2013. The release provides the latest physician survey results at national, provincial and specialty specific levels.

The survey was available electronically to all physicians in Canada – close to 10,500 responses were received. The 2013 survey collected information on important trends in employment opportunities and challenges of physicians in Canada.
